The badger group is an entirely voluntary organisation, nobody from the group takes a wage and all of the work that we do is for the protection of badgers. Our work involves surveying badger setts and monitoring the badger population in our area, this requires equipment such as remote camera traps, and torches.

The group is also vaccinating badgers in order to combat bovine TB in our area, we aim to prove that vaccination offers a cost effective, efficient and humane way of controlling bovine TB. We believe that this is of benefit to badgers and to cattle.

We can only achieve this with the help of our members and the kind donations of members of the public.
